Former / Current Transy Students with Blogs

    By Kyle | February 1, 2008

Surely there are more than these seven. If you know of any others, let me know by posting them in the comments section.

    Ryan Applegate’s Blog
Ryan Applegate or ‘Gate as he refers to himself writes a blog that was originally started with his roommate who posted twice and then decided it was too much work. The blog centers around complaining about Transy and occasional funny videos which I steal and post on my site. It is updated 4 to 5 times a week.

    Sam Arnett’s Blog
Sam is teaching English in Japan and this blog features his experiences as well as some really solid life advice. He has some very good things to say and it is obvious that unlike everyone else on this list he actually proof reads and thinks things out before he posts them. It is updated every Monday.

    Josh Elston’s Blog
Elston started this blog for his trip to Europe. Once he got back it shifted to stories about Ron Paul, drunken nights out at the local bar, and hipster things I don’t really understand. Updates are sporadic, but lately it has been 4 to 5 a week.

    Gary Mouser’s Blog
The Great American Sports Blog is run by Gary “The Jackhammer” Mouser along with Adam “The Madman” Korengel. It is all about sports with the very rare original song video. I especially enjoy them ripping on everyone under the sun, including my beloved Chiefs. They update the page more than I update my own site, easily averaging 3 to 4 posts a day.

    Steve Pratt’s Blog
Steve writes about whatever comes to mind. He is a very witty writer, but there is absolutely nothing in common with any of the posts. He has updated four times this year, with his fifth post being from last summer. I’m not sure if he is back into a regular schedule or he feels bad about not updating for six months.

The Hilarium - Adam Hutchinson, Adrian Cobb, Eric Clark, Jason Sankovitch, Jon Clark, Kyle Melloan, Tom Claycomb
The seven friends started this blog a really long time ago. September 2005 to be exact. It covers a bunch of of different topics, from politics to batman to UK basketball. Posting was regular for a while, but there have nine posts in the past month. Some members (Hutch) literally haven’t posted in years.

    Austin McCubbin’s Blog
This thing has only been updated ten times in the past year and not at all since October. I think he might have forgotten he registered the domain.
