Here are five really high quality blogs I’ve found myself reading lately. What blogs do you guys suggest?
Weekend Reading: Philosophy Edition
When I say philosophy edition I mean political philosophy and when I say political philosophy I mean readings on Libertarianism. I did some reading this weekend to try to get my mind going. Some days I really miss having serious academic discussions. These days my life consists of debates about tuxedo t-shirts and phone calls about paying dues.
- Code Free or Die: Why Hackers Are so Often Libertarians
- What a Libertarian Is – and Is Not
- Libertarianism and the Left
- Why I am not a Libertarian
- What’s So Bad about Living in The Matrix?*
*This one is thrown in because I read it and it is vaguely related.
Weekend Reading: Watchmen Edition
My thoughts on Watchmen: Very enjoyable film, no way to include everything from the graphic novel. Snyder did his best, definitely worth seeing, even if you don’t know anything about it. If you aren’t familiar with Watchmen don’t expect non-stop action. Be prepared for a long deep look into human nature. The following links contain spoilers, so unless you’ve read the graphic novel tread lightly.

Weekend Reading: Facebook Is Out of Control Edition
I’ve been tagged several times by the 25 Things post and I refused to participate. No matter how many times I get tagged I just can’t go along with it. Apparently I am not the only one who thought it had gotten out of control, Time magazine wrote an article about the phenomenon. Hopefully this is the last Facebook Edition Weekend Reading I will post for a long time.
Weekend Reading: Interesting(?) People Edition
