Why Koreans are really good at Starcraft
Until watching this video it was a complete mystery to me how Korean players were so good at strategy games. Granted, the speeds they move their hands in this video have little to do with their race and much more to do with the incredible amounts of time they probably spend playing these games. Starcraft is such a big deal in Korea that people go to arenas to watch two players face off against each other. This entire event, fans and all, is then broadcast on television. I always thought that if I wanted to I could spend a ton of time on playing some game and then be really good. I’m pretty sure I’m wrong. There is no way I would ever be able to play a game to move this quickly. Wow.
