A while back ‘Gate asked me to do another one of these posts. It took me a while to compile data because I forgot to turn the tracking back on when I had to reset everything on the server. Without further ado, here are the results from traffic to the server over the past month.
As you can see, things sure have changed. ‘Gate is now in undisputed first place with me falling really far. The Sports Blog is third, followed by Hamby’s Blog and then Richmond’s Blog.
Not terribly surprising if you have been checking all five regularly. I am going to be re-thinking what I am doing with my blog over the next couple of weeks. I really don’t have time to update it regularly, other than just embedding videos people send to me.
Update: I should also mention that the Fantasy Football stat tracker we are running has more traffic than everything else combined.

What are those web sites that you check when you fire up your browser? What are the web sites you check on a daily basis, what are those you check on an hourly basis? Many of mine are in the links section, but I am more curious about what my viewers are looking at regularly. Leave links in the comments.

A lot of people ask me what I do now that I have graduated. For those of you who are not aware, I work as a Regional Director for Delta Sigma Phi fraternity based out of Indianapolis. I travel about 75% of the time to different chapters around the country and try to help them as best I can. Technically I am responsible for “providing training in fraternity operations and risk management to the organization’s chapters and colonies in specific regions of the country.” You can view my official profile here. For those of you who know me well, you will probably find it funny.
Below is a map of the chapters I have in my regions. (click to enlarge)

I noticed today that my youtube videos have been viewed a total of 217,917 times. Wow! Because I don’t have time to post anything too original or complicated, here is my most watched video of all time.

Previously I was very hesitant about who I offered blog hosting to. Those days are no longer. Recently my host changed some technical aspects, which I won’t go into. Long story short I can now host about ten times as much stuff as before.
If you are interested in getting hosting take a few moments to answer the following questions.
1. Do you know me in real life?
2. Do you plan on updating a minimum of two or three times a week?
3. Do you have anything interesting to write about?
4. Does your future wife’s first name rhyme with your last name?
Depending on how you answered those questions you should probably be able to figure out whether or not you qualify. The next step is to send me an e-mail requesting hosting.

I wanted to have this done almost three weeks ago, but unfortunately it just didn’t happen that way. As of right now everything is working properly (I think) and set up the way I want it. Knowing how I am, I will probably continue to make some minor tweaks over the next couple of weeks, but for the most part I can now concentrate on content.
Essentially this is Version 3.0 of kylelibra.com. Version 1.0 was crappy and lasted only a few months. Version 2.0 was much better and lasted about three years. Hopefully Version 3.0 will be good and last a long time.
You might be wondering, “what has changed with Version 3.0?” Good question, let me explain some of the major changes. First, there the nature of the content has changed. Unfortunately I am going to have to get away from daily updates. It just isn’t going to be possible with my travel schedule. Instead I will be switching to longer, less frequent posts which have a lot more content in them. There will also be articles and projects that get posted. Articles are basically long posts that have relevance beyond just staying on the main page for a couple of days. Projects are larger, more involved web related items I am working. The second major change it twitter integration. In the sidebar there is a constant update of what I am doing at any given time. I am especially proud of this because I can update it from my cell phone.
These changes are huge, but the direction of the web site is definitely going in a different direction now. One thing is for certain, it will remain an entertaining diversion to whatever mundane things you have to do from day to day.

You have reached the personal web site of Kyle Libra. For more than three years this was the location of my blog. Unfortunately, shortly after I graduated this past May and then subsequently left for Europe it went down. I’m not entirely sure what happened, but essentially the entire site was somehow destroyed and everything needed to be started over from scratch. Currently I am living and working in Indianapolis, but getting this site back going is on my list of things to do.
This page will return soon, until then check out some of the pages which I host. Both the ‘Gate Blog and Great American Sports Blog offer an interesting read.
