These don’t really have a theme, just a bunch of things I read in the past week that I found interesting.
When I say philosophy edition I mean political philosophy and when I say political philosophy I mean readings on Libertarianism. I did some reading this weekend to try to get my mind going. Some days I really miss having serious academic discussions. These days my life consists of debates about tuxedo t-shirts and phone calls about paying dues.

Whether it is the government, girlfriends or corporations someone out there doesn’t want you to know this stuff.
My thoughts on Watchmen: Very enjoyable film, no way to include everything from the graphic novel. Snyder did his best, definitely worth seeing, even if you don’t know anything about it. If you aren’t familiar with Watchmen don’t expect non-stop action. Be prepared for a long deep look into human nature. The following links contain spoilers, so unless you’ve read the graphic novel tread lightly.
If you read the recent traffic report, you saw that there are some major gaps in popularity among the hosted blogs. Hopefully this will be a good resource for the current hosted blogs or anyone else thinking about starting one.
I’ve been tagged several times by the 25 Things post and I refused to participate. No matter how many times I get tagged I just can’t go along with it. Apparently I am not the only one who thought it had gotten out of control, Time magazine wrote an article about the phenomenon. Hopefully this is the last Facebook Edition Weekend Reading I will post for a long time.
