About six months ago I bought the entire Seinfeld series on DVD. To date I’ve only watched the first three seasons. One day I’ll finish. I thought the series was finished, but it appears it may not be totally done. Curb Your Enthusiasm is bringing back the entire Seinfeld cast for five episodes of season seven. As Jerry puts it, “We are adding another chapter onto the series.” Later he goes on to say, “It’s actually going to have a new ending.” Here’s my question: Is there any reason Seinfeld wouldn’t work as a complete stand alone show again?
I’ve gone back and forth on posting this. Be warned, if you are easily offended this one is not for you. This is a clip from Comic Con featuring director Kevin Smith talking about what he really thinks about Twilight. Definitely some NSFW language, but very funny. I haven’t seen Twilight and do not intend to.
Every year at Disney World they have a Star Wars weekend. For some reason this Star Wars weekend involves a dance off with characters dressed like the ones from the movies. The following clip is from the freestyle portion of the show.
Seth Rogen appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live the other night to promote his new movie “Funny People.” I saw the movie yesterday afternoon. It was decent, but not as funny as I expected it to be. You can view my thoughts on this movie as well as all other new releases I have seen this year on the film rankings page. In this clip Seth Rogen talks about a hilarious encounter he had with actress Megan Fox earlier in their careers.
For those of you who remember the quality VH1 show Tool Academy, you will remember this guy. Matsuflex, the contestant who made it to the finale before being eliminated is launching Team Matsuflex. The video never really explains what Team Matsuflex does, all it keeps saying is “Join the Revolution.” The video is unintentionally hilarious and if you are really interested, he is selling t-shirts on his web site.
YouTube has disabled embedding of all videos related to Michael Jackson, so you will have to check out this tribute to him here. The tribute was done about a year ago looking back at 25 years of Thriller.
Banksy is one of my favorite modern artists. This video is a sneak preview of his new exhibit. Even though it is free, it is in another country and probably won’t be seeing it anytime soon. That is unfortunate, because it looks really great.
The other night’s South Park episode was based on the premise of Jimmy creating a joke and Cartman stealing credit for it. The joke goes like this:
Person 1: Do you like fishsticks?
Person 2: Yes
Person 1: Do you like to put them in your mouth?
Person 2: Yes
Person 1: You must be a gay fish, lol.
The joke is admittedly stupid, but in the episode it becomes wildly popular. Someone eventually tells it to Kanye West who doesn’t get it. For the rest of the episode people call Kanye a gay fish until he finally is convinced that he is actually a gay fish.
You can view Kanye’s response here, or just read it below. Video from the episode also after the jump.
If you watched the reunion episode of VH1′s Tool Academy you were probably left with a lot of questions. The reunion episode itself had some good whammy moments, but wasn’t that great. It actually left me with a lot of questions. The biggest question in my mind was what the hell is team matsuflex? Our initial thought was that it was either some sort of weightlifting supplement or a hair gel. After a quick search of the internet, here is what I have discovered.
