For now pictures will have to suffice. Hopefully later tonight or early tomorrow I’ll finally get around to putting up a post explaining in detail what is going on the the car and the Fiesta Movement contest. For those who haven’t visited me since I moved to Indianapolis, yes, that is Taggart Mansion behind the car.
For all of you who have asked, I’ll get an in depth post up in the next couple of weeks about the car. For now here is a video that was rejected for some very obvious reasons. NSFW language.
I got back from Chicago today with my new Ford Fiesta. I am unpacking and then repacking to catch a flight in the morning. I’ll post a longer explanation of what is going on with the Fiesta Movement when I get a chance. Below is a picture I took from my phone, it isn’t very good quality.
The Fiesta Movement web site launched earlier this week. You can check it out here. More importantly, my individual profile page can be found here. I hastily wrote the bio and submitted it because I was on the road somewhere and didn’t have much time.
I am going to be posing more and more Ford Fiesta stuff, so get ready for it. This video is only a minute long and helps explain a little about the contest.
This post serves as a lengthy explanation of all I know or at least all I am allowed to divulge at this point. If there are any further questions, or things I forgot to address, mention them in the comments and I will address them.
How it all started
I saw this article in Wired Magazine. It explained that Ford was running a contest to give away 100 Ford Fiestas. The were looking for people who had “a strong presence on the web, an ability to craft a compelling story through video, and a hunger for adventure.” Easy enough I thought. I have a good chance considering that describes me really well. The article goes on to explain that:
Brand agents will be responsible for following missions that, according to Ford, will “take them to new places, to meet new people and to experience new things in their Fiesta,” all of which will be broadcast on the internet.
