Weekend Reading
Weekend Reading is a semi-frequent update of interesting things I’ve spent time reading over the past seven days.
- Mystery solved: Why time stands still at 9:42 on iPhone – Story about how the iPhone always displays 9:42 during Apple Keynotes. Now during iPad the time has changed to 9:41.
- The Apple Two – The iPad is Steve Jobs’ final victory over the company’s co-founder Steve Wozniak – The iPad launched this week, it was huge. This is an interesting look at what the product’s launch really means about Apple’s transition as a company from it’s roots.
- Why We Haven’t Met Any Aliens Yet – Funny / terrifying explanation about why we haven’t met any aliens yet.
- Flying the SR-71 Blackbird – Incredible first hand account from one of the pilots of the famous spy plane.
- Signal vs. Noise – Great blog I’ve been reading lately after I read the book by the blog’s two authors. The book is called Rework, I highly recommend it. It’s has really changed the way I approach a lot of work related stuff.
Great blackbird story Kyle.
I thought you would particularly enjoy that one.
