Monday Morning Distraction: We Rule

Unfortunately this one is only available to iPod Touch / iPhone users. We Rule is available in the iTunes Store.

The first thing you’re probably going to say is something like “isn’t this like farmville?” Well, I’ll admit it is a little bit like farmville. It has a lot of similar aspects. Remember, 50 million people play farmville for a reason. We Rule is highly addictive. The real fun comes from playing with friends. My username is “kylelibra” so send me a friend request and we can play together.

Once again you can download We Rule by going here.

For those of you wondering, there is already a spreadsheet out there calculating the most efficient way to make money and increase level.

Are there any strategy guides out there? If someone could post links that would be helpful.

      Some questions I need answered:

      1. How many levels are there?

      2. Are the cottages different?

      3. Which of the buildings are the best?

      4. What is the most effective use of mojo?

      Can anyone help me?

        1. I think there are at least 25, I also think they have been adding them as they go.

        2. No, they are all the same in terms of benefits.

        3. The spreadsheet linked earlier explains some of this. The problem is that for 100% efficiency you have to depend on another player, which isn’t always the best.

        4. I’m not sure off the top of my head. It probably wouldn’t be difficult to do the calculations to figure this out. My hunch is that it would be most efficient to use mojo on plans that give you the most return per hour in terms of xp. Don’t use it on beans though, that’s definitely the worst of the plants.

I’ve considered writing a post with some general strategy. There isn’t much out there right now. At the very least it would probably be some good linkbait.

I’ll admit I never played farmville, but what is the incentive to play this? What makes this fun? I’m going to check it out, but I would like to hear from some other people about why this is becoming so popular.

    6. Kyle says:

In general I would recommend trying it out and worrying less about maximizing profits and more about building something interesting.
