Also, that graph only represents income tax – it does not even touch on other taxes: such as sales tax, property tax, excise tax, gasoline tax, FICA, Medicare / Medicaid, local taxes, state taxes, etc.
If you really want to get sick about it, think about how many hidden corporate taxes are built into consumer products. The things you buy are much more expensive because of taxes the manufacturers, retailers, and transporters of your products had to pay.
Wait, but as much as our elite complain about getting taxed too much and socialism, it just doesn’t compute. Are you sure you don’t have the reciprocal problem again? lol. Sickening.
