Civony has occupied more of my time lately than I care to admit. I have seen ads for this game all over the place and finally gave in and clicked on one. Imagine Age of Empires played with 50,000 people in a persistent world with very basic graphics. You harvest a variety of resources to build a bunch of different units. This game is essentially a castle simulator where you build a big castle and an army and go out and conquer lesser beings.You get a week of beginner grace period to figure out what is going on before anyone can attack you, but you can cancel it early if you think you are ready. The game is free, but with money you can do stuff faster. Playing for free is definitely the way to go.
