Weekend Reading: Philosophy Edition

When I say philosophy edition I mean political philosophy and when I say political philosophy I mean readings on Libertarianism. I did some reading this weekend to try to get my mind going. Some days I really miss having serious academic discussions. These days my life consists of debates about tuxedo t-shirts and phone calls about paying dues.

*This one is thrown in because I read it and it is vaguely related.

This is political but didn’t make it in the bullet items above, the incredibly interesting story about hiding Salman Rushdie:

The Matrix link is the best. I think it is a directory of all of the philosophical articles that were in the book “Philosophy of The Matrix.” Too bad the Wachowski bros stole the idea from Ghost in the Shell and others.

On a similar note, I just registered as a Libertarian today in my new town. Nice links, btw.
